Most visitors decide in a few seconds whether to stay. On a phone, the top of your homepage does most of the work.
1. Say what you do and where
A clear headline like "Auto repair in Lakeland, FL" beats a clever slogan. It helps visitors and search engines.
2. Make contacting you one tap
Put a call button, a booking or request button, and your hours near the top. Repeat them at the bottom.
3. List your main services
Short sections with plain names. Use the words customers search for, not internal jargon.
4. Show real proof
Real photos of your work, real reviews (with permission), licenses or certifications you actually hold. Never use fake testimonials or stock photos pretending to be your work.
5. Make it fast
Compress images and skip heavy sliders and autoplay video. Slow pages lose visitors.
6. Make your location clear
Your service area or address (if customers visit you), and a link to directions.
7. Keep it current
Out-of-date hours or prices cost trust. Plan a way to update them.
